THE Lamerton Point to Point will be held at Kilworthy, Tavistock, this Sunday (March 25).

The course is in excellent condition after last weekends rain and with the current good drying spell should run extremely well with good competitive racing. There are 120 entries running in the seven races that are scheduled with the first starting at 1pm.

Many of the West Country's leading point to point owners are entered and as last years racing produced exciting and thrilling finishes organisers are hoping for a repeat performance this year.

There are 51 entered in the Maiden which has been divided and with a safety factor of 16 runners may divide again on the day.

The weather forecast is for a clear sunny day and Kilworthy remains an excellent viewing course for spectators and, together with trade stands, hot and cold refreshments, and bar it continues to be an exciting day out for all the family.

Kilworthy is on the A386 Tavistock to Okehampton road and the course will be clearly signposted. Road access has been improved and entry is £10 for a car and driver and £5 for any other passengers.
