CONGRATULATIONS to Drake Judo Club as their junior and senior players took nine medals at the Kazoku Truro Judo competition on Saturday.

This young club fought well and earned seven gold, one silver and a bronze medal.

Tavistock coach Charles Knape said: ‘As head coach today I could not be more pleased with every single performance Drake dominated in nearly every bout. The best of all was the spirit shown and cameradery.’
