THE Mid Devon Pony Club had a wonderful turn out of eleven members for the Eggesford Triathlon in Okehampton on Saturday.

In the biathlon class, their team of Immie May, Ruby and Molly Bushin and Zara Plaskett did superbly to win the class, with Ruby finishing first individually and Immie in second place.

In the mini girls, Lydia Arscott was competing for the first time and she and Zara's sister Casey both did well - Lydia scoring well in the shoot, while Casey had a personal best run time.

In the mini boys class, Christopher Wrey finished fourth and was thrilled to qualify for the National Triathlon finals at Milton Keynes. Harry Robinson scored a superb 860 in the shoot – a pb for him, while Archie Philips also produced a personal best in the swimming phase as the three boys finished fourth in the team competition.

In the junior girls class, Lettie Cowling finished seventh with her team coming second; Tom Bayley had the best shoot in the senior boys group and finished the competition in third place. Tom has already qualified for Milton Keynes earlier this year.
