THE warm sunny weather has attracted large fields for Tavistock Golf Club's competitions. 

In the Pro Shop Stableford, organised by club professional Glenn Richards, more than 100 players took part.  Dave Thomas topped the scoreboard with 42 points; second place with 41pts was Ian Hendry on count back from Lewis Reid. 

In the men's George Kitley Salver and Mercedes Benz qualifier David Axell was first in division one with 39pts and was winner of the Salver; second, Jim Whitehead 38pts and third Graham Ruth on 37pts. 

In division two first was Paul Whitby 35pts, second Dave Thomas 33pts on count back from Richard Smith.  Dave Stratton topped division three with 34 pts, second Ron Jago 31 pts and third Ron Challoner 30pts on count back from Lee Bartlett.

Luis Inacio was winner of the junior Stableford with 35pts, second with 33 pts Tom White and, in third, Jamie Ninnis with 21 pts.
