A PERFECT day for golf last Thursday as members of Hurdwick Golf Club played host to Bovey Tracey Golf Club in a friendly match. The match was played in an excellent spirit — as always against Bovey Tracey. The result ended in a win by Hurdwick by five matches to one. Thanks were expressed to the ground staff for the preparation of the course which, in the words of the visiting team, was 'in an excellent condition and a credit to the owners for the obvious progress that is being made'.
