A SPECIAL football match was played on Sunday at Lovell’s Park, St Dominick to commemorate the life of a local girl who lost her life at a young age.
The round robin, 11-a-side football tournament was held between St Dominick, Callington, Calstock and Gunnislake with the teams playing for the the Chloe Hunn Memorial Trophy.
All proceeds from the day went to St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth who looked after Chloe in the final weeks of her life.The unofficial amount raised is in the region of £5,000. Callington were the eventual winners of the tournament.
