AFTER a run of three fixtures in a week, Tavistock had just enough left in the tank to see off St Stephen’s Borough in a keenly contested fixture last Saturday.

Tavistock took the lead in the first half, with Scott Sanders converting calmly from a Bailey Williams cross. Williams then made it 2-0 in the second half when he lofted a cross from Fletcher Cook over the Borough keeper.

Ben Harris halved the deficit for St Stephen’s Borough, but it was all the away side could muster in a good home win for Tavistock.
