THE Lambs got off to the perfect start by opening the scoring in the first minute, when a fine move saw Deej Moore provide a perfect cross for Tyler Elliot to fire home from six yards.

Elliot then became provider when he produced a fine pass for Liam Prynn to double the lead in the seventh minute.

The hosts continued to dominate possession and continued to create more goal scoring opportunities but some resolute defending blocking and a number of really good saves by the visitors’ goalkeeper.

It was nearly three before the interval but Tallan Burns’ powerful shot from 20 yards rebounded back off the crossbar.

The second half continued in the same pattern with the Lambs in total control putting the visitors’ defence under constant pressure.

Liskeard continued to keep numbers at the back to build a blanket defence and deserve credit for their considerable effort to keep the score respectable. Their defenders blocked a number of shots and their keeper had an outstanding game.

The Lambs sealed victory in the 66th minute when Liam Prynn finished off an excellent move to score the third goal. The home team continued to press but could not add to their goal tally.
