TAVISTOCK Reserves made their first game at Langsford Park in 2018 count with a 4-2 win over St Blazey.

It was for the most part an even game up until the last 20 minutes when Tavistock then started to pile on the pressure. The home side went ahead with a goal from Scott Sanders before the visitors equalised a minute later through Ryan Yeoman before Connor Spear restored the lead.

Alla Sia slotted home a goal for St Blazey to make it 2-2 at the break.

However, further goals from Tom Burgess and another from Sanders sealed it for Tavistock.

It was not an easy game for the home side to win but again the Tavistock youngsters showed they are a team to be taken seriously.
