OKEHAMPTON Argyle faced a hugely challenging trip into Dorset on Saturday, September 26.

They took on Bridport FC at St Mary’s Fields and were beaten by seven goals to two in their latest SW Peninsula League outing.

Bridport aren’t quite as imperious as they were last season, a campaign which saw them collate 73 points and lose just three games, but they remain a fierce opponent all the same.

Young Tyler Little scored both of the Argyle goals and there was a brace for Bridport’s Jake Childs too whilst Riley Weedon, Ryan Gall, Kieren Daniels, Josh Camp and Euan Joyce were also on the scoresheet.

There were victories elsewhere in the division for Exeter Uni, Torrington AFC, Ilminster Town and Stoke Gabriel TP. Three other games ended in score-draws.

Oke have two games coming up, first hosting Axminster Town in a battle of the bottom two (Saturday, October 3) and then facing rivals Crediton Unites (Tuesday 6).
