LAST weekend saw Mount Kelly’s Jed Hutchings compete at the 2018 UIPM Laser-Run World Championships in Dublin, Ireland.

Jed, from St Dominic and aged 11, represented Great Britain, had an outstanding weekend and won silver medals in both the individual event of the running and shooting event and the mixed relay, with the GB U13 boys’ team also winning silver overall.

Jed this year has become the South West and British champion after only taking up the specialist event this year.
