WITH a bare 11 squad, the last thing Horrabridge needed was an injury, but within 10 minutes they were down to ten.

With Lee Bignell sidelined with a thigh muscle problem, Horrabridge had to dig deep, and they did with Aiden Redmile bagging the first after breaking the defensive line and knocking passed the keeper.

Bignell rejoined the action briefly and was involved in some good build up play ending with Jordan Smith scoring his first for the club. Five minutes later and Bignell left the pitch for the final time reducing Horrabridge to ten once more, but yet again they showed their ability when Redmile broke free of his marker and calmly stroked the ball home from a well placed Wayne Shaylor pass before the half time whistle.

Central Park were more involved in the second half but some poor shooting meant they never really threatened Brydon Conradie in the Horrabridge goal. Horrabridge though were threatening and man of the match Aiden Redmile scored his trick sending an 18 yarder dipping over the keeper and going in off the underside of the bar.

From there on and with Central Park heads down Horrabridge dominated the remainder of the game with skipper Steve Gibbings scoring two more goals — his first tapping in after a Dave Gibbings shot was blocked on the line by Horrabridge’s own player Reece Johnson and his second finishing from close range after a Shaylor freekick.
