A FAIRLY even start to the game at Fillace Park saw both teams have chances but it was Tavistock Youth’s Lewis Richardson who scored first and went further ahead when Samuel Thomson scored their second.

Straight after half time Horrabridge pulled one back when Sam Perkins galvanised the home side. It was not long before Joe Summers struck a great shot to level the game at 2-2.

In a nervous last 10 minutes for both teams, it was Tavistock who edged ahead again as Matthew Jenkins scored. Horrabridge dug deep and Morgan Richardson came off the bench to level the score at 3-3.

There were just minutes left as Horrabridge were pressing for a winner, hitting the crossbar for the ball to bounce down onto the ground.

It was the last kick of the game but no goal was awarded, which actually represented a fair result for both teams after they had put their heart and souls into a competitive, entertaining game.
