CHAGFORD bowed out of the Bill Slee Cup in this second round match thanks to two Chumleigh goals in two second half minutes.

For most of the match, the hosts were out of sorts and their guests were able to exert control over the proceedings.

Will Martin opened the scoring for Chumleigh ten minutes before the break. It was not until the 73rd minute that Chagford levelled things up, after starting the second half more positively. Substitute Davon Friend nodded home an equaliser.

Two minutes on and Steve Ebdy put his team ahead once again. Barely had play restarted than Martin poached his second, sending the travelling support into ecstasy.
