THE list of players departing Tavistock AFC is growing by the week and the latest exit is that of their captain.
Experienced midfielder Callum Watson became the ninth man to move on from the Lambs, following manager Steve Tully out of the door.
Tavistock enjoyed a really strong start to the season under Tully but off the field issues clouded over and the former Torquay United and Exeter City defender left Langsford Park as a result.
In the first batch of losses, Reece Shanley reunited with Dan Hart at St Blazey, Sam Gleeson signed for Bideford AFC plus Deacon Thomson returned to Saltash United alongside Sam Hillson.
Then it was the turn of Shane White to jump ship, signing for Ben Gerring and Bovey Tracey AFC.
Highly-rated youngster Tom Chastey was snapped up by Exmouth Town and Lambs legend Jack Crago chose Liskeard Athletic where he has continued to thrive in front of goal.
Number eight was Ryan Smith who had arguably been the form player for Tavistock up to that point.
Smith scored the first goal of the Connor Marshall era, an equaliser against Buckland Athletic which surged them onto a 2-1 victory.
Ironically, he has now signed for Buckland, a former club of his, and then notched an added-time winner on his second debut in yellow as the Bucks beat Ivybridge Town, who Smith has also played for previously.
Now Watson has jumped back up to the Southern League to play for Barnstaple Town but on the flipside, Marshall has landed his first permanent signing.
Centre-back David Rowe has been confirmed as a Tavistock player having previously played for the likes of Bovey and Exmouth.
Also appearing under Marshall already is Luke Forward, who left Buckland in the summer to sign for Bideford and also helped him out during his brief Stoke Gabriel & Torbay Police tenure.
