BERE Alston United Youth FC were delighted to be nominated in three categories at the prestigous Devon Football Association awards evening in their debut season.

The club are extremely proud to have been shortlisted for ‘club of the year’.

Committee member Corrina Daymond also won the ‘supporter of the year’ and came runner up in the ‘rising star of the year’ for all of her hard work in setting up and assisting in running the club.

The club thank their sponsors that have enabled them to go forward this year with under 12s, under 9s and ‘mini kickers’ for children from school Year 2.

Secretary Steve Daymond said: ‘It’s fantastic the good work on the pitch by the players and off of it by the committee, supporters, men’s team and sponsors is being recognised. We are a great little club and its encouraging to get the recognition as a top club in a county with hundreds of clubs and teams.’
