IT was the first game for weeks for Bere Alston but there was no excuse for this abysmal display with the home side giving away the ball. It was only Craig Mulholland in goal, who saved Bere going down 2-0 at half-time.

Unfortunately for the home side It was the same dire performance from United in the second half as they ran around without purpose. However after three substitutions Bere improved, although, once again it was Mulholland to the rescue with a number of saves.

Borough snatched a winner with ten minutes to go after poor defending from Bere, leaving the unlucky Mulholland, who didn’t deserve to be on the losing side, stranded.
