Tavistock men 10

TAVISTOCK'S first team demonstrated their ruthlessness this weekend with a another vintage performance.
It did not take long for the home side to break the deadlock through some rapid counter-attacking hockey which left the Hornets overwhelmed at the back and Ollie Richards capitalised upon this by driving in a powerful shot into the back board. Further goals from Bayliss, Richards and Fenwick gave Tavistock a healthy 5-0 lead going into the break.
With gale force winds and heavy rain not dampening the spirits of the home side they continued their fine form. Tom Honey made the most of his chances with a cheeky flick over the keeper into an empty goal mouth. With the travelling side tiring the game started to further open up which Tavistock took advantage of. Further goals from Richards and Bayliss put the final nail in the coffin leaving Tavistock comfortable winners. Man of the match was Henry Chamberlain.
