IN division one of the Okehampton and District Table Tennis League, the young Okehampton D team were at home to current league leaders, Bridestowe.

In a trial of youth over experience, youth won the day with Luke Bennett and Mari Baldwin both scoring fine maximums and combining to take the doubles for a 7-3 win.

North Wyke were at home to Anchorage B. Dave Wilson took the first for Anchorage in a hard fought 16-14, 4-11, 13-11, 12-10 match. Enrique Cancer-Berroya levelled against Colin Brooker and went on to score a great maximum with Tom Misselbrook also scoring two for the North Wyke side. North Wyke also took the doubles for a final 6-4 scoreline.

In division two, Milton Abbot were at home to Horrabridge A. Again, it was youth taking control with the young team of Tom Doidge, George Anderson and Tim Westcott all taking maximum points for a convincing 10-0 win.
