THE Tinhay Darts League finals took place on April 26 at the Tavy Club.

Pete Gibson thanked Tinhay Building Supplies for its continued support, and league president Ralph Millard presented the trophies.

A great evening of darts was had. The doubles final went to five legs with C Hurford and M Credicott winning 3-2. N Evans scored 180, single final was won by P Evans beating T Morris 3-1.

Prize winners were: league winner, Leaping Salmon B; runner up, Leaping Salmon A; cup winner, Leaping Salmon A; runner up, Mary Tavy Inn; singles winner, P Evans, Leaping Salmon B; runner up, T Morris, Leaping Salmon B.

Doubles winners: C Hurford and M Credicott, Mary Tavy Inn; runners up, P and N Evans, Leaping Salmon B.

Most league wins, D Webber, Mary Tavy Inn; highest shot out, A Greenaway 147, Leaping Salmon A; most 180s, 6, G Willcocks, Leaping Salmon A; most sporting team, Walkhampton Inn.

The annual meeting will be held at the Burrator Inn on Monday, July 1, at 7.30pm. Any new teams wishing to join, please be represented at the meeting.
