TAVISTOCK Cricket Club juniors have enjoyed a successful and fun season.

Two teams were entered in the Palladium under 11 leagues, with the younger children in the B division 'Blues' team and the older boys and girls in the A division 'Reds' team.

The Blues were delighted to win three matches and the Reds only lost one game and finished a creditable second in their league. With one game remaining, the U13s still have a chance of winning their division.

Parents and children alike enjoyed a sunny day of inter-club cricket to celebrate the end of season. There was a buffet lunch with individual presentations between an U11 and U13 game. Parents enjoyed the bar!

The many coaches have worked hard throughout the winter and summer to ensure that all the children have chance to participate in practices and matches, with the result being a thriving and ever growing junior section.

District and County nominations increase year on year, boding well for the future of Tavistock CC.

Quality winter coaching sessions will again be available in the new year whereby new members are welcome.
