IN the Okehampton Netball League on April 23 Dodgers beat Jesters 34-26.

Jesters gave their opponents a tough game; Dodgers who are currently near the top of the table struggled to prevent Jesters scoring and were unable to penetrate the defence.

The match was fast paced and evenly matched throughout; however in the last quarter Dodgers pulled out all the stops to win by eight goals.

Tonix beat Starburst 25-15. In the third division top of the table Tonix took a while to settle against the young Starburst team. Although leading throughout the youngsters did not give Tonix an easy ride. In the fourth quarter Tonix used their experience and excellent defending to win the match.

The week before Speedwells beat Jesters 39-30. Speedwells were on fine form with the shooters scoring well.

Jesters had a better second quarter and decreased Speedwells lead to only three goals.

In the third Jesters kept up the pressure with goals going with the centre pass. In the last quarter Speedwells maintained their lead and found that extra burst to win the match by nine goals.
