MOUNT Kelly brothers Abraham and Jacob Kopparambil came away from the prestigious junior awards evening with three trophies between the pair.

Jacob (Year 8) won the U13 bowler of year award following his record breaking year for the county where by he took the most wickets in the season.

Older brother Abraham a regular member of the Mount Kelly first XI won both the U15 and U16 batting awards, the first player in some years to win both awards.

The schools’ director of sport, Gareth James, said: ‘Both of the boys work extremely hard on their game and have the skill set and determination to go a long way in the sport.’
