TAVISTOCK Cricket Club first team captain Shaun Daymond received his captain of the year award for the Devon Cricket League B Division 2016.

The award is voted for by the league umpires and was awarded at the Devon league annual meeting earlier this month.

Another Tavistock player, Phil Bees was presented with a services to the Devon Cricket League award.

Phil is currently the league’s vice chairman and fixtures secretary .
