A SPLENDID 51 by Tavistock’s M Puddock, 47 by I Staig, 38 by P Stephens and 35 by B Russell gave the home side an impressive innings total of 290.

T Ahmed had good bowling figures of 3-45 for the visitors.

Yelverton struggled in the chase and despite a 25 from M Golf and 23 from C Vinson they were bowled out for 131. Tavistock seconds beat Yelverton seconds.
