TAVISTOCK Cricket Club entertained Plymouth in a pre-season friendly on Sunday, resulting in a two wicket win for the City side.

The, home side batting first, scored 175-7, with James White scoring 50, and new overseas player, Dom Snyman, scoring 32. Plymouth reached the target with eight wickets down. Hal Kenton made 52, John Varcoe 44 and M Petherbridge 25.

Tavistock captain Shaun Daymond took four wickets.
