A TRY by Tavistock's Aiden Mason and the conversion by Jess Cramoysen were just not enough to beat mid Devon visitors Crediton (pictured in black and orange) at Sandy Park on Saturday.

Tavistock coach Will Read was pleased with the effort by his team in a game he felt the home side 'should have won.'

He told the Times: 'To their credit Crediton played well, we just didn't get hold of the ball when we had the chance but having said that the boys put in the effort so there are no complains. The pitch was good despite the weather and Crediton just came out on top in a close match.'
