THE sixth form Tavistock team produced an outstanding display in this second round tie against a competitive Stoke Dameral side both in the effort they put in by working for each other and the quality of football they played.

Tavistock opened the scoring half way through the first half when the ball broke for striker Luke Moody who shot into the far bottom corner of the net.

Tavistock continued to dominate and doubled their lead at the start of the second half when a through ball over the Stoke Damerel defence was met by Moody again who went around the goalkeeper only to be brought down in the penalty area. The resulting penalty was put away by David Milligan.

This superb team performance was completed when an excellent run and cross by captain Daryl Panter was directed past the goalkeeper by Will Hall.
