CONSERVATIVE B went clear second in the Tavistock Snooker league as they gunned down Conservative C on Valentines night in a 5-0 massacre.

Evans beat Neale and Dolan made it two for the B team as he overcame Jago. Lillicrap capitalised on some loose play by Hoare to win a game that Hoare should have really put to bed, while team mate Andrews beat Wilkinson to make it four for the B team. Monk brought up the five for the B team with a one sided game against C team debutant Gliddon.

There was no love lost on Valentines' night between West Devon B and West Devon C. The B team raced ahead as a resurgent May took out Elliott, scoring 69 points in the process, backed up by Roger Rich who beat Grigg to take their team 2-0. The C team come back commenced with Hodge beating Bath and Shrimpton producing yet another bright display to overcome John Rich. All square, final frame, it was the C team's Williams that overcame the challenge from Jock Gilchrist to win take the match for the C side.
