BAT's Badminton Club is the Plymouth and District Badminton Beckley Cup winners for the 2012/13 badminton season.

After a tense final against Tavistock Badminton Club, BAT's Badminton Club won narrowly by 17 points.

Played at the Torpoint and Rame Leisure Centre the final was 18 games of mixed doubles badminton.

The BAT's pairings of Andrew Hall and Veronica O'Leary, James David and Hannah Kingman and, Alan Berry and Ellie Drage competed for every point with the two BAT's young ladies, Hannah and Ellie, being credited with having played beyond their years against the experienced Tavistock ladies in close net play.

At the end of the final, which was played in good spirit, it was BAT's that received the winners trophy to hold on to for the coming year.
