THE whole team came out determined to get captain Brett Lawson, his first win as captain.

Dan Rademaker made a break for the ball in the opposition 'D' which he calmly slotted through the defence into the bottom corner of the goal.

Okehampton's large defensive presence consisting of Ian Miller, John Jarvis and Tim Morgan was felt by Duchy's attack, but the ball was passed up the left wing to Rowan Perrior who slapped the ball in, and cleverly picked up and smashed into the back of the net by Brett Lawson.

Duchy then gained a series of short corners which were eventually stopped by Zac Middleton.

Mark Bingham and Simon Bourne then started another attack gaining a lot of ground which was eventually stopped.

Duchy then achieved a penalty flick and keeper Hayden Bond was given all the pressure but the ball deflected off the stick into the net.

Great midfield play by Pete and Lewis got the ball to Sam who popped the ball out to Mark Bingham to drill the ball into the goal.

Zac Middleton got man of the match for his constant running and tackling as he continues to improve for the upcoming season.
