THE cadet section within Weir Quay Sailing Club held their ‘end-of-season’ prizegiving evening at the Bere Ferrers Parish Hall recently.

Thanks to the efforts of the training team led by Steve Kirby, the hall was near to overflowing with sailing cadets and their parents.

The WQSC will be holding winter talks — held at the Bere Alston Bowling Club — and are looking forward to sharing in using the Weir Quay Community Water-sports Hub Club boat shed that will be built by April 2018.
