Bridestowe v Babbacombe

BRIDESTOWE enjoyed an exciting win on Saturday at home to league leaders Babbacombe.

The Torquay side posted a total of 209 all out thanks mainly to the efforts of P Sutherland (44), and S Broad (63) but thwarted by the bowling efforts of Bridestowe bowler D Fogarty (4-51). The home team just surpassed the visitors innings with 210-9 with a fine contribution from P Hatton on 49. S Broad followed his batting prowess with a bowling spell of 5-43. It meant Bridestowe won by one wicket and earned 20 points to Babbacombe's nine.
