Colin Squire, a spokesman for the club, said: ‘We could not have asked for better weather and everyone agreed that the green was in excellent condition, thanks to our greenkeeper Ken Wood.’
The chairman Cliff Dyer thanked everyone who helped to make the day a great success and gave special thanks to all the teams that participated in the tournament.
