A WONDERFUL cricket day was had by Yelverton Sunday side at Mount Edgcumbe. The Cornish side batted first in a timed game with Mike Chetwynd for the Bohemians returning from overseas to claim four wickets.

Mount Edgcumbe set a good total of 213 all out.

Richard West (30) Chris Oliver (87not out) and Ian Cunningham with his maiden career half century (67not out) saw the Yelverton Bohemians side to a seven wicket win at a ground that must have some of the most beautiful views in the country.
