BERE Alston were a shambolic side compared to last week's team effort with both full back being ripped apart chasing shadows.

The Claret's first goal came from a centre when Wayne Smalley left the keeper stranded heading over him for a Launceston player to knock the ball home. To avoid an own goal Wayne was ripped again and his centre should have easily been cleared by Will Westlake.

More was to come as Wayne Smalley got caught in possession with a resulting goal.

Three substitutions for Bere Alston at half-time changed things but united wasted chance after chance as openings went begging. Although Darren Philips to score from a James Follett cross was turned in at the second attempt all the pressure could not save Bere Alston from a humiliating defeat.
