BERE Alston Bowling Club 30th anniversary season opened in sunshine with all six rinks in use on the excellent green.

Captain Colin Squire welcomed everyone and especially greeted the new members.  He said club nights are Tuesdays when any potential new members will be made most welcome. A full fixture list starts on Sunday with an away match at Kingsbridge.

This is the fourth year the club has been at its new site and the clubhouse has become a popular venue for village functions.
