THE 15th annual Horrabridge Football Twinning five-a-side tournament takes place at Fillace Park Horrabridge on Saturday, July 14 and spectators are most welcome to cheer the teams on.

It was originally scheduled for July 7 but the weather took its toll.

The tournament raises funds for Horrabridge Rangers Football Club and the football twinning with the villages 'twin' of Tilly-sur-Seulles in Normandy, France.

Organiser Chris Mitchelmore said: 'There will be 24 'invited" teams taking part from around the Plymouth area divided into four groups.

'Group matches start from 9.30pm-1pm and quarter finals, semi-finals, and finals of both Champions Cup and Supplementary Cup will be from 1.30pm onwards.

'Spectators are most welcome and there will be plenty of refreshments available with a barbecue and hot and cold drinks.'
