THE Lamerton Point to Point will be held at Kilworthy, Tavistock, this Sunday.
The course is in excellent condition after last weekends rain and several fences have been rebuilt and we are expecting excellent racing and jumping.
Roger Jennings, on behalf of the organisers, said: 'We have a good number of declared runners and the maiden race has been split giving seven races that are scheduled with the first starting at 1pm.
'Many leading point to point owners are entered and as last years racing produced exciting and thrilling finishes we are hoping for a repeat performance this year.
'Kilworthy remains an excellent viewing course for spectators and, together with trade stands, hot and cold refreshments, and bar it continues to be an exciting day out for all the family.'
Road access has been improved and entry is £10 for a car and driver and £5 for any other passengers.
Kilworthy is on the A386 Tavistock to Okehampton road and the course will be clearly signposted.
