ABBY Turner, from Okehampton, and David Heaton, from Exeter, (pictured) competed in the Audi quattro UK cup final at the Bowood Golf and Country Club in Wiltshire this week. Abby, aged 31, and playing partner Heaton, 61, finished seventh with 34 points in the one-day, 18-hole Stableford rules competition. The pair had individually finished fourth and fifth in the Silverstreet Audi Woodbury Park GC event before teaming up to claim third place in a regional final at the Foxhills GC. The Audi quattro Cup is the world's largest amateur golf competition with 80,000 players from more than 50 countries competing for a place in the final.
