PEOPLE are being invited to see a mammoth mural, which the Tavy Youth Group has been creating at the CHICKS moorland retreat in Brentor over the last few months.

Tavy Youth Group meets monthly and enjoys the use of the games facilities at CHICKS — a locally-based children's charity that provides free respite breaks for disadvantaged children.

In return for using their onsite facilities, the group has been painting the outdoor barn for beneficiaries of the charity to enjoy.

Tavy Youth Group, part of the Tavy Mission Community, is planning to hold a brunch on Sunday (July 7), at the moorland retreat in Brentor.

People are invited to join them for a short, family-friendly service at 9.45am, followed by brunch at 10.15am. There will be an opportunity to hear more about the work of CHICKS and to look around the centre.

All money raised from the brunch will be donated to CHICKS.
