FROM all the members of Okehampton District Chamber of Trade, may I thank everyone who came into town to support Edwardian Evening and helped make this event the wonderful evening it has become.
The whole evening has become a very important part of Okehampton's calendar and is welcomed by both businesses and customers alike. This year seemed to attract more people to town than ever, helping make the unique atmosphere Edwardian Evening has acquired.
May I take this opportunity of reminding everyone that Okehampton has a further Late Night Shopping evening tomorrow, Friday December 19. A bus will run from Northlew to Hatherleigh arriving in Okehampton at 6.45pm.
The committee and members of Okehampton District Chamber of Trade wish everyone a peaceful and happy Christmas and look forward to seeing them and being of service during 2004.
