Your old toys could raise cash for school

AN APPEAL is going out for old and unwanted toys in good condition for Friends of Boasley Cross School's second fundraising toy sale.

Toys are wanted on a 50/50 basis or as donations for a sale, hopefully on December 6 and 8 in Okehampton to tie in with Edwardian Evening.

Last year, the event, which also included an auction, raised in the region of £400 and train sets and a rocking horse were among the items donated.

If anyone is having a clear out and finds some old unwanted toys among the items, please deliver them to DIY Supplies in St James Street, Okehampton or contact Neil Hancox on 01837 52130.
