MORE than 30 children and their parents and carers gathered at the Meadows in Tavistock last Thursday for a 'big toddle'. Barnardo's Big Toddle is the UK's biggest event for children under 5 who take part in a sponsored half-mile walk. Tavistock Area Children's Centre organised the local event in aid of the children's charity Barnardo's. The centre runs two 'drop ins' at the United Reformed Church Hall in Tavistock on Thursdays and the Pavilion in Princetown on Wednesdays. For more information call 01822 614210.
