AN ELEVEN-year old Kelly College swimming club member has raised £528 for Children?s Hospice South West. Christopher Swash, who also swims for Launceston Swimming Club, completed a one-hour competition in which he swam 141 lengths of the Launceston swimming pool ? approximately two-and-a quarter miles. Chris is pictured presenting the cheque to Lavinia Archer, the local fundraising representative for the hospice. He thanked everyone who had sponsored him, including many small businesses in Tavistock and Launceston.
