A WEST Devon youngster made his screen debut over the weekend, appearing in a new Cow and Gate advert, shown during prime time television.

Following a nationwide search for the UK's little groovers, two- year-old Riley Hoskin from Tavistock was chosen among others to show off his dance skills in the advert.

Over the summer, the brand invited parents to submit videos of their little ones showing off their personality through dance, for the chance to appear in the brand's new campaign.

Riley, who has Down's Syndrome, wowed the team with his jiggling and jiving, resulting in him being picked from more than 3,500 entries from across the country to star in the advert.

Proud parent Sarah Bellamy said: 'I'm so excited my little boy was selected to star in Cow and Gate's new advert.

'It just shows that even though he has Down's Syndrome, he can achieve anything. He has such a happy, bright and bubbly personality and I'm just so proud of my little boy!'

Bruce Newman, Cow and Gate marketing manager, said: 'Cow and Gate loves to celebrate the amazing personalities of the UK's little ones, and what better way to let them express themselves than through dance?

'Riley really danced his way into our hearts and we think he will have viewers boogying too.'

Riley appeared in the advert, shown for the first time during an advertisement break during The X-Factor on Saturday evening.
