Bridestowe v Calstock
WINNING the toss Bridestowe elected to bat first. A strong Calstock bowled and fielded well all afternoon and but for a late surge in the run rate by S Down (39no) and N Griffiths (24no) Bridestowe?s batsmen were well contained, ending the innings on 153 for 6.
Calstock?s opening trio fell to M Harris for 11 runs. Harris ended with figures 3-34 off 8 overs.
Runs were contained at the other end by P Down 1-14 off 8 overs and P Yates, who took 4-27 in 7 overs.
Calstock were all out for 102 in 31 overs.

Bridestowe v Tavistock
BATTING first, Bridestowe were immediately put under pressure from Tavistock bowlers, S Munday 1-12 and B Thomas 3-8, losing their first three wickets for just 14 runs. They ended their 20 overs on 61-7.
Tavistock?s opening pair of S Johns and G Crudgington must have been disappointed at not being among the runs, as Tavistock were made to work for their victory.
M Solsby was 31 not out, Tavistock winning in the 17th over for the loss of four wickets.
They now play Hatherleigh or Chagford in the final.
