DARTMOOR-based MED Theatre has organised an exciting series of workshops in conjunction with international theatre company Theatre de Complicite as part of the Myth project for the young people of Dartmoor.
Clive Mendus from Theatre de Complicite will be holding two weekend drama workshops for young people aged 14-25.
The first will be held on September 27 and 28 at Manaton Parish Hall and the second on December 13 and 14 at a venue to be confirmed.
Although the workshops are intended to form part of MED Theatre's Myth project, they are also open to other young people from the area as MED recognises there may be a number of keen youngsters wanting to take this opportunity to work with a unique theatre company.
Theatre de Complicite is renowned for its innovative physical theatre and has toured productions around the UK and internationally.
The workshops will explore performance skills such as improvisation, devising and ensemble work, and will also enable people to find out more about Complicite.
The September 27 and 28 workshops will run from 10.30am to 5pm on Saturday and 10.30am to 4pm on Sunday.
