WORK began this week on re-developing the Okehampton Jobcentre as part of the nationwide Jobcentre Plus Network.

The office will re-open in late February. During the period the work is being carried out there will be alternative arrangements to ensure service to customers, including a caller office.

This is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and is situated at the rear of the Jobcentre.

During this period anyone looking for a job can call Jobseeker Direct on 0845 6060234.

Employers can place vacancies with Employer Direct on 0845 601 2001.
