A FAMILY fun day, deemed a great success, marked the start of half term for many at the Tamar Trails Centre in Gulworthy, recently.
Tamar Grow Local hosted a producers' market, supplying tasty local produce, pumpkins were carved, faces were painted, wood was whittled and 'Ways with Willow' held willow weaving workshops, creating a new willow owl sculpture which now stands on the lawn as a permanent feature for the centre.
Kate, from the Tamar Trails Centre, said: 'We want to encourage more people, walking groups, dog walkers, cyclists and families out onto the trails to enjoy the beautiful routes and have fun in the outdoors. It's such a wonderful resource, so we're trying to build an awareness of it.'
